The Respiratory Therapist is a professional caregiver who assesses the respiratory needs of patients and works closely with physicians, nurses and other health care team members to
administer all respiratory care procedures that provide the maximum therapeutic and diagnostic benefit to the patient. The Respiratory Therapist also administers non-invasive cardiology procedures dependent on the individual's capabilities and training. Must be able to perform EKG's; ability to perform EEG's preferred.
We are currently recruiting for a Per Diem Respiratory Therapist to work primarily 12-hours shifts. Mostly Days 7:00am-7:30pm but also available for some nights 7:00pm-7:30am.
Qualifications:
* Current Pennsylvania license as a Respiratory Therapist (or eligible for immediate
Pennsylvania licensure).
* Either a CRT-Certified Respiratory Technician or RRT-Registered Respiratory Technician
certification required.
* BLS/CPRand ACLS required.
* Ability to perform EKG's required; ability to perform EEG's preferred.Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
