Job Summary/Purpose:The Staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for providing patient focused health care. The staff nurse will utilize the nursing process, communication skills, and problem solving techniques to deliver quality care. The staff nurse will also be responsible for the knowledge and technical skill needed to operate a variety of mechanical devices to accomplish this task. The staff nurse is accountable for the age groups as defined in the scope of care.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Current State Illinois Registered Nurse License
* CPR
* ACLS preferred
* Chemotherapy certification (Course completion within ninety (90) days of hire for Registered Nurses with one (1) or more years of experience. Registered Nurses with less than one (1) year of experience will be scheduled for the course after six (6) months of employment.)Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
