Complete Description
The Account Reconciliation Rep provides reconciliation and resolution to CTCA hospital and physician accounts and to make all necessary adjustments to a Patients Account. Responsible for all manual post billing adjustments for a Patient’s account. Completes centralized adjustments for Patient Accounts. Account adjustments are researched by performing the following: review of all applicable EOB’s, review of all payments, review of CTCA Contractual agreements and Patient specific agreements. Has extensive knowledge of each site’s Financial Policies and applies adjustments per these policies. Apply adjustments to accounts for all business entities.
Mimimum Qualifications:
* Must be a High School graduate or equivalent with strong analytical skills and good figure aptitude.
* Must have a minimum of 5 years A/R experience in a hospital or physician health-care setting/or similar customer service position.
* Must have basic knowledge of medical terminology.
* Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
* Must have knowledge of PC and other office equipment, Windows experience is a plus.
* Must have knowledge of ICD-9, CPT coding, insurance terminology and ability to read Explanation of Benefits statements.
* Must have outstanding telephone communication and customer service skills.
* Must be able to perform routine mathematical, color coding and alphabetizing functions.
* Must have excellent organizational skills, and be able to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities.
