Complete Description
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Electronic Health Records Nurse Educator to work primarily 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday with off-shift flexibility to cover the needs for night-shift (7:00pm-7:30am) training from time-to-time.
Primary responsibilities are to deliver training, provide post go-live coaching and thought leadership to ensure that end users (including physicians, nurses and staff members) can effectively use the new Electronic Health Records technology and processes established by the client. Secondary responsibilities include assisting with upfront planning and developing curriculum.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Experienced Trainer, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
* Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License or eligible for immediate PA licensure.
* Electronic Health Records implementation and training experience.
* Stand-up training and/or one-on-on coaching experience.
* Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral, at all levels: physicians, nurses, staff, and executive.
* Ability to learn quickly.
* Strong analytical aptitude and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Instructional Design and Delivery expertise, including the creation of job aids, participant guides, exercises, etc. a plus.
* Microsoft Certified Trainer in Microsoft Office preferred.
Essential Physical Requirements:
* Requires light/medium work with minimal lifting, handling of patient charts.
* Requires 3-5 stationary and 1-3 hours standing or walking.
* Individual must be able to bend, twist, squat, reach grasp and pull.
* Good visual acuity is necessary to read patient charts and computer monitors.
* Individual must have acute hearing to assess patient needs and answer inquires on phone.
* All employees within this job classification may have exposure to bloodbourne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials
Additional Information
Rotating Shifts may be required.
